A WRAS-approved permanent push-button combi boiler filling loop for 15 mm pipework, preset to a maximum pressure of 1.4 bar. It helps prevent over-pressurisation and unnecessary water discharge.

The Jepp Valve can be used in homes and managed properties where a sealed heating system, such as a gas combi boiler, requires a filling loop. Its simple operation is particularly useful for landlords, housing associations and local authorities managing social housing because an occupier can be shown how to restore pressure without handling a loose hose or several isolation valves or requiring a visit by an engineer or plumber.
If installing a Jepp Valve prevents just one call-out during its lifetime, the avoided attendance cost is already more than the incremental hardware cost. Visit the Jepp Valve Investment Calculator to develop a business case for installing a Jepp Valve.
The Jepp Valve
The JEPP VALVE is a push-button combi boiler filling loop that prevents over-pressurising the system and stops countless gallons of fresh water from being discharged and wasted.
The JEPP VALVE is patented and WRAS approved recognising its water saving properties.
Read our boiler filling loop guide to learn how filling loops work and why boiler pressure falls.
It has a preset maximum pressure (1.4 bar), allowing the press button to be used to top up the boiler* or be held in the filling position for new installations and for topping up a drained system.
The JEPP VALVE cannot cause the boiler to be over-pressurised. Once you have checked the boiler gauge is set, the job has been completed for either filling the system or topping up the system after a pressure drop.

A safer alternative to a traditional boiler filling loop
Unlike a removable flexible filling loop, the JEPP VALVE provides a permanent, simple way to refill and pressurise a combi boiler or sealed heating system. Its push-button control and preset maximum pressure help homeowners, landlords and heating engineers top up a system without accidental over-pressurisation.
Why
The JEPP VALVE was invented because the standard filling loop is prone to letting water past in both the single valve and the double valve versions.
Problems that result from existing filling loops include:
- connecting the loop
- failed/seized isolation valves
- over-pressurising the system, causing long term damage
- leaving a permanently open connection causing short term damage to the boiler
- leaving running water on the outside of buildings
The list is endless and extensive.
Features
Features of the JEPP VALVE include:
- designed to be installed in a convenient position for the end user e.g. in cupboards
- ideal for loft installations
- an ideal/easy retro fit, replacing existing filling loops
- package includes an installer/bypass clip for commissioning systems
- WRAS approved for safe permanent connection to the incoming cold water mains supply
- Braille embossed push button to help the visually impaired
Benefits
Designed with the installer and the end user in mind:
- permanently installed sealed system filling valve
- easy to use – just press the button
- no need for the use of a flexible hose and fear of non-disconnection
- no isolation valves to leak or seize up
- provides water saving benefits over the lifetime of the system
The JEPP VALVE is also available for commercial installations. These valves have a preset maximum pressure of 2.5 bar.
* please note that should the end user have to refill more than once over a short period of time e.g. monthly, then we would advise calling an engineer to resolve a potential leak issue on the system.

The JEPP STOP is a device to simply connect your washing machine or dishwasher to a spigot on a sink waste and which will stop your machine back filling with waste water from your sink.
It comes with 1 x stainless steel cable tie and 1 x plastic cable tie.
With the JEPP STOP installed:
- the stainless steel cable tie is fitted to the spigot
- the plastic tie is fitted to the appliance outlet hose
When the tenant moves out the JEPP STOP stays on. It’s not easy to cut off the stainless steel tie. The occupants appliance is held on by the plastic cable tie which they just cut away and remove their appliance leaving the kitchen safe from flooding.
It is ideal for housing associations, letting agents, local authorities and private landlords etc. as, when tenants move out, they tend to just pull off the appliance hose leaving the sink waste open. This can easily lead to flooding when the new occupant moves in but hasn’t yet connected an appliance, runs the kitchen tap, fills the sink and then pulls the plug out.
Product carries a standard 1 year guarantee.
- No back filling
Sink waste cannot backfill to your appliance - Ideal for landlords & housing associations
Avoids call outs when appliances removed & prevents damages from small floods - Eliminates odour
Design prevents odours from sink waste
